Blackberry Smoke Fund has impacted the pediatric cancer community in the following ways:
8 children having their tumors sequenced through the Precision Medicine Program at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
26 families received mortgage or rent assistance.
18 families received financial assistance for their vehicle payments.
600 meals were provided to the patients and families at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (Egleston and Scottish Rite locations).
Over 20 patients and their families received much needed counseling.
5 families in financial need were able to afford the funeral and burial expenses for their child.
1 Neuroblastoma research project has been funded in part by the Blackberry Smoke Fund.
